Community Sterilisation Program

AN OVERPOPULATION CRISIS

An estimated 700,000 free-roaming dogs live across Bali. The number of owned dogs is unknown.

Thousands of puppies are born every month, increasing pressure on communities, animal welfare, and public health.
Without sterilisation and vaccination, the cycle continues.

Help prevent hundreds of unwanted births and create safer communities across Bali.

why it matters

Too many dogs can lead to increased roaming, dog bites, road accidents, nuisance behaviours, and ongoing rabies risk.

Sterilisation and vaccination work.
Fewer puppies. Healthier dogs. Safer streets.

RABIES IS STILL HERE

Rabies remains a very real issue in Bali.

Every new litter creates more animals needing vaccination and increases the challenge of controlling the disease.

Sterilisation reduces the number of animals being born. Vaccination protects the animals already here.

Together, they are the most effective long-term solution.

What your support makes possible

Monthly support helps us reach more communities with sterilisation and vaccination programs, reducing overpopulation, preventing rabies, and creating lasting change across Bali.

Sterilisation & Vaccination

Sterilisation is the only long-term solution to overpopulation. By reducing the number of animals born, we can stop the cycle of suffering before it begins. Monthly support funds operations and follow-up care so fewer animals are left struggling to survive.

Education & Advocacy

Education empowers people to help with confidence and compassion. We focus on sharing knowledge about responsible care, prevention, and humane treatment so individuals and families can make informed decisions that protect animals in the long term.

Help prevent hundreds of unwanted births and create safer communities across Bali.

We also accept donations through our US based 501(c)3 non-profit, Mission Paws’ible INC, where 100% of the funds get sent to our Indonesian Yayasan Proyek Peduli to help animals in need.
