THE HEALING CENTRE

FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS, WE HAVE BUILT A SAFE AND TRANQUIL PLACE FOR RESCUED ANIMALS!

Mission Paws’ible is on a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome neglected, abandoned, abused, and discarded domestic animals across Bali, Indonesia. However, our success hinges on the availability of ongoing funding, adequate space, and essential resources. We took a significant step forward to address these constraints by establishing The Healing Centre, a purpose-built facility spanning 400m2 that opened in Q1 of 2024. The centre serves as a sanctuary for our rescued animals and supports solo rescuers seeking assistance in their animals’ recovery journey.

Our journey towards The Healing Centre began in late 2020 when we recognised the need for a centralised facility dedicated to the care of our rescues.

Managing our animals in clinics and commercial boarding setups posed financial challenges and hindered our adoption efforts. Despite facing unforeseen challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, we persevered. Through relentless efforts, unwavering determination and critical financial support from our supporters we secured the necessary means to acquire the land and commence the building’s design process.

The Healing Centre costs over AU$5,000 a month to care for 25+ animals. 
Becoming a monthly donor, you help us focus on what we do best: rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need.

In 2023, after overcoming numerous hurdles and setbacks, we finally broke ground, marking the commencement of the construction phase.

However, the journey to completion was fraught with challenges, testing our patience and resilience. Nonetheless, in 2024, we proudly inaugurated The Healing Centre. We welcomed our first residents, signalling the beginning of a new chapter in our commitment to animal welfare here in Bali.

At The Healing Centre, our approach to healing is holistic. We focus on addressing not just the clinical ailments but also nurturing the overall well-being of our animals. We prioritise using proven, all-natural products to treat conditions, ensuring that our animals’ immune systems remain uncompromised by chemical interventions.

We engage all the senses, incorporating elements such as animal therapy music, calming essential oils, and natural raw diets supplemented with daily oil massages. Additionally, our residents benefit from laser therapy sessions and one-on-one interactions in the sunshine, boosting their vitamin D levels and promoting emotional healing.

Currently, The Healing Centre accommodates up to 25 animals at any given time, each at varying stages of recovery. Whether battling superficial skin infections or recuperating from a broken bone, our dedicated team is committed to providing personalised care and support to facilitate their healing journey.

SIGHT:
Every room is designed to maximise natural light, ensuring our animals maintain healthy sleep-wake cycles.
SOUND:
Internal speakers play 528 Hz-based healing music, reducing anxiety and promoting restful sleep.
SMELL:

Essential oil diffusers permeate the air with calming scents, creating a serene atmosphere.

TASTE:
Our animals enjoy portion-controlled raw food diets with organic bone broth and natural supplements tailored to their needs.
TOUCH:
Daily human interaction fosters socialisation and emotional well-being.
NATURAL PRODUCTS:
We prioritise using chemical-free shampoos, cleaning products, topical treatments, and sprays.

In addition to these pillars, we recognise the importance of sunshine and play in our animals’ lives. Therefore, each day includes two hours of playtime, ensuring physical exercise and mental stimulation. Furthermore, we provide leash, toilet, and scooter training to equip our animals with essential skills for their future adoption journeys.
